Do you have experience driving andexecuting end-to-end market access strategies for companion and complementarydiagnostics (co-diagnostics)? The Janssen Co Diagnostics Commercial StrategyTeam is hiring a Director to replace a recently vacated position on our team.We work on diverse, cross-functional teams to bring innovative medicines topatients in need around the world and have an immediate need for your skillsand know-how.


  • Serve as Market Access Lead for current and future global co-diagnostic programs primarily in partnership with the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Drive global payer value proposition development for co-diagnostics and support integration into local and regional programs
  • Lead the development of global value dossiers and value communication tools to support co-diagnostic access decisions
  • Lead market research programs in support of key diagnostics access strategy development and landscape analyses
  • Support design of clinical trials and real-world evidence initiatives with a focus on appropriate evidence generation for payers and HTA bodies
  • Educate TA and Regional partners in diagnostic access evidence requirements and pathways- and support local and regional access programs
  • Liaise with external diagnostic development partners in Co Dx strategy development and execution
  • Serve as an authority regarding diagnostic market access issues for pharmaceutical market access partners
  • Support diagnostics coverage and payment policy position development for broader Janssen organization

  • Qualifications


  • Minimum of 7 years in a market access and/or pricing role for a pharmaceutical and/or medical device/diagnostics company (required)
  • Diagnostics and/or oncology experience (preferred)
  • Companion Diagnostic experience within Pharma (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience on co diagnostic clinical development programs in a market access role preferred
  • Strong leadership competency- demonstrated comfort influencing and leading multiple, diverse partners
  • Experience in Co Dx global value dossier development and modeling desired
  • Knowledge of global payers and HTA bodies a plus
  • Ability to understand and translate the implications of evolving payer coverage policies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that support internal and external business relationships
  • Experience leading people and working with strategic partners and customers
  • Successful management of agencies and vendor relationships
  • Ability to work across multiple geographies and J&J companies
  • Ability to travel globally and domestically: 10-20%
  • Education BA/BS required

    Advanced degree in business, lifesciences, health economics preferred
