The Director of CAR-T Operations will lead all aspects of CAR-T operation logistics strategy. You will be tasked to maximize operational processes to achieve commercial goals and customer experience metrics for JNJ-4528. This person will develop strategies to work with our internal and external partners to ensure exquisite coordination and compliance between the site and cellular manufacturing.









Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:









? Serve as key strategist for all CAR-T related operations including planning and communication between clinical / patient coordinators and internal manufacturing leads from site certification through commercial use.









? Serve as critical team member of CAR-T commercialization team which includes Key Account management, medical, sales, legal and patient support members.









? Evaluate and assess CAR T center capacity, capabilities and structures, ensure implementation of processes and SOPs, and ensure proper preparation (training, logistics, RMP, etc) of the customer.









? Build and continually optimize an operation \"playbook\" that ensures a high level of consistency, quality and compliance with engagement related to chain of custody.









? Deliver extraordinary customer experience model through high touch site engagement









? Balance supply chain requirements with site demands around enabling manufacturing slot flexibility and communicate with sites









? Oversee appropriate education and training of all key stakeholders









? Team with CAR-T account manager to implement business process continuous improvement



Qualifications









? A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. A healthcare master's degree or nursing degree preferred.









? A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience is required.









? Prior healthcare experience is preferred.









? A minimum of 3 years of prior experience in the hospital setting (e.g., patient care coordination) is strongly preferred.









? Prior people management experience required.









? Experience in bone marrow transplantation, apheresis or hematology preferred.









? Consistent track record in working across key stakeholders(s), e.g. medical, sales, marketing and/or account management.









? Strong project and process management skills, and IT technical competencies.









? Previous ERP or CRM experience preferred.









? Strong communication and negotiation skills (verbal/written), ability to build and maintain reliable internal customer relationships.









? Ownership mindset - proclivity for action and problem solving.









? Comfortable in a matrix environment without direct line authority.









? Agile learner with the ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments and to prioritize effectively.









? This position is based in Horsham, PA or Raritan, NJ with travel required up to 30% of time.
